A warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to you for visiting my website. Here, you'll find a portfolio of my decorating work for all occasions! I take great pride in providing confections that are also unique works of art.
I am a blue ribbon winner in both Advanced Cake Decorating and Wedding Cake Decorating at the Deerfield Fair in Deerfield, NH and am trained in the Wilton method of cake decorating, as well as many self-taught techniques.
My cake prices range from $1.50 - $4.00 per serving, depending on the degree of difficulty and detail of the design. Delivery and set up is also available for an additional fee.

It has been a busy summer for the midnight baker! I had a wonderful time at my friend Nika's fashion show on saturday (for which I provided 102 gourmet cupcakes). She kicked some serious butt!
Now it's time to get working on my entries for the 2009 Deerfield fair. Yes, I said entries - plural. I decided that if I want to be serious, I should be able to do 2 entries (like some people on tv who do 2 and more!). I'm doing one wedding cake and one advanced decorating cake (a sushi platter). After the fair, I have one more order pending and then, it's time for a break from decorating.
I'll be helping my brother & sister in law prepare for the coming of their first child (my first niece/nephew!!). This involves shower throwing, nursery mural painting, and God knows what else. Therefore, I will not be soliciting any new outside orders after October 1st until Christmas. If you're a friend, there's always room for exception, so please contact me. I'll make no promises though.
In the last few months, I've been pretty busy - thanks to you! Those of you who have placed orders, or who have recommended me to friends have greatly inspired me to be more ambitious in my decorating.
In the last 2 months, I've done 2 weddings, 2 birthdays and a christening/dedication. I have 2 birthday cakes, and an American Cancer Society fundraiser (check out info below) coming up for the month of September and, as always, the Deerfield Fair! This year I am entering 2 cakes in 2 different divisions - 1 wedding cake, and 1 advanced decorating cake. I'm going to go pretty traditional with the wedding cake this year, but with a new technique that I haven't even tried out yet! I'm still debating on what to do with my advanced cake. I'm leaning towards a sushi platter...
