I designed this symbol to represent my relationship with my husband. Christ is what brings (and keeps) us together. Also, it is Christ alone, not one another, that completes each of us as individuals. Christ alone is sufficient for each of us to be complete and whole, as we were created by God. But through Him, He draws the two of us permanently together.
