3rd Quarter
Thursday January 12th marks the beginning of the 3rd quarter. We are officially half way through 3rd grade! The students are continuing to work on their literacy skills and are very focused on their writing. The students are getting very good at the responsibility of homework. The continually bring their homework to school completed, thank you for your support with their studies! We're starting Unit 4 in our reading series on Tuesday January 17th...watch for new spelling words to come home weekly!

Another great week is done in 3rd grade! We are gearing up next week in literacy. Our focus is graphic sources and text structures. The students are continuing to work toward their reading goals to earn their Pizza Hut Book It! certificates.
As the weather is turing colder, please remember to send coats, hats, gloves, etc. with your student. We try to go outside for recess as often as possible!
