Devastating News from India.

Rev. U.C Pattnayak, the president of the Orissa Missionary Movement was attacked by a fearsome mob of 500. His office, residence, and Church were burnt by the assailants. The family ran to find safety and is now in hiding.

On September 5th, 2008, four nuns belonging to the Missionaries of Charity, (Mother Teresa’s order) were assaulted. The nuns were travelling from to along with a few infants when around 6 pm the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (World Hindu Council) boarded the train and amidst their slogan and shouting, dragged them out and started assaulting them. The names of the four Nuns are Sister Vinaisa (58), Sister Mamta (65), Sister Leena (63) and Sister Kripa (27).

Christians are being forced to deny their faith in Jesus Christ and make public confession of reconverting back to Hinduism in mass public meetings. But the bold confession on the lips of fleeing Christians is “I will die, but I will not stop being a Christian!”
