CHILD SPONSORSHIP REGULATION
Ø The Child Sponsorship Program is a form of moral and economic support in favour of socially, physically and spiritually underprivileged children. This type of engagement absolutely excludes any form of substitution to the actual parents or guardians.
Ø The established monthly quota is communicated at the beginning of the sponsorship engagement. Currently it is of Canadian $31.00 or 21 Euro per month. Should the amount change, due mainly to the fluctuation of the foreign exchange market, the sponsor will be notified in due time.
Ø In the event that the sponsor should decide to discontinue sponsorship, the sponsor would have to notify his/her decision to Christian Life Relief International, at least three months in advance. Should the sponsor fail to send the agreed contribution for two consecutive trimesters, in spite of being reminded, he/she will lose the right of adoption and the conditions established in the present regulation will be interrupted.
Ø The person, who acquires an adoption, agrees to regularly send the agreed monthly amount in advance, at the beginning of each month. The payment can also be made for more than one month or one payment for the entire year.

Ø The Sponsor must clearly indicate the name and case number of his/her child as well as his/her own name and address so that he/she will receive a letter of thanks and confirmation of payment received.
Ø The Sponsor will receive correspondence from the assisted child as well as a new photo at least once or twice per year. If the sponsor has an E Mail address, the letters and pictures will be sent by E Mail if he/she is in agreement. Please let us know your E Mail address by sending an E mail to child_sponsorship@clti.net
Ø The Sponsor is advised not to send the child any gift packages containing objects of various kinds such as: candy, toys, or other food items as they seldom reach their destination. We advise, if so desired, to send an extra monetary contribution specifying the reason of the same.
Ø Should the Sponsor desire to write to his/her child, he/she will forward the letter to our office – possibly by E Mail at child_sponsorship@clti.net or if not possible by E Mail, to our P.O.B. mailing address. We discourage the use of parental appellatives such as mother/father/son/daughter.
