Love is...
Here are some responses from the class on a Valentine's Day activity we did. They had to fill in the blanks on love is... They were so cute I had to share some of them. It helps keep you grounded and not worry about the small stuff.
-Love is...hugs and kisses. Love is presents. Love is when you smile and your cheeks get red. Love is sharing and caring.
-Love is...hugs. Before you go to school you should give your parents a hug.
-Love is...sweet. You can write them all kinds of letters. You can be a secret admirer. You can draw them pictures. You can tell them you love them. You can love anyone.
-Love is...cute. Love can make your eyes water. Love can be good. Some people do not like love. I like love. Some people love each other if their on the other side of the world.
-Love is...sweet. Love is sweet because the people give hugs and give chocolates. If I was in love I would give that person sweet things. When people are in love they give them big stuffed bears.
-Love is...cool. Love is something that comes from your heart. Love is to help each other. Love is sweet.
-Love is...romantic. I love my mom, dad, and sisters. I love my friends but not the kissing kind. When I hear the word love it reminds me of a girl and boy kissing.
-Love is...when you like someone. I would give her some flowers and a vase to put them in. She would be nice to me and I would be nice to her. I would like her. I would marry her. I would do anything for her.
Check out our Basketball Addition Champs!
On our math game days, the students have been playing in a basketball addition tournament. There are pictures of the 1st and 2nd place team under the Classroom Stars. The first place team is also pictured on the home page. The students did a great job with knowing their addition facts quickly and with 2 digit adding. Way to go 2W!
Science Night
Attached are the directions on how to make the bouncy ball from Family Sciend Night. The students had a blast making it at science night. It would be a fun experiment at home too.

Native American Play
Finally...the play is on the website. It took me many attempts to get the video here. I had to cut out the intro and conclusion to shorten the video so the website would allow me to add it. The students did an EXCELLENT job with the play. Thank you to all the parents for practicing the parts with their child at home. Hope you enjoy the video!
