Learning to Create Stories
Spence, newly 3 years old, when Joe asked him to tell him a story (something made up - fake), says, "Last time, there was an Eagle and I started to chase it and it didn't have any wings!"
Learning From a RE Story
A new story box that the Upper Class had created to the Spirit Play kids yesterday.
It was a parable from Jesus talking about how helping anybody who is thirsty, hungry, cold, in jail or sick, etc is just like helping him directly and, how not helping others is just like not helping him if he were in trouble. The kids really liked it.
In discussing the story, Max told us how he helps Spencer get a drink of juice when he's thirsty and also how he can get his own drink if he's thirsty from the medicine cups in the bathroom. It was just perfectly sensible and sweet!!!
oh, so smooth
Max 4 3/4 yrs. Max shaves for the first time, w/o telling us. Came into the dining room asking us to feel his face. Smoooooth, huh? He didn't hurt himself because he used water first and went Slooooow, he says. Climbed up on the vanity to get Joes' 5-blade razor.
