Ceramic Houses and Santa Maria

5^th grade has finished their second trimester with a BANG!  We are currently finishing up our ceramic houses (the images you see are in progress photos of their houses) and are in the glazing part of the process.  They have also finished creating a book case in the shape of the Santa Maria, the ship  Christopher Columbus sailed.  The bookcase seen here can open up to a bookcase inside with the main deck of the ship to be used a place to sit and read.
