This is my twelfth year of teaching and I am proud to say, my seventh year at Sugar Hill Elementary School. I am excited about beginning my sixth year in the Science Specials classroom.
The 2011-2012 fifth grade class has been with me since first grade. This year for the second time at Sugar Hill E S, I am thrilled about the opportunity to share the wonders of science with kindergarten students!

The Junior Scientists is a (4th & 5th grade) science club designed for the student that just can't seem to get enough science. A select group of science enthusiasts are chosen each year and participate in extracurricular science activities beyond the scope of the classroom.
While all may apply, in order to maintain a quality program, the number of fourth and fifth grade students is limited.
Approximately 20 applicants are chosen each year. Meetings will be held once or twice a month. Parents are responsible for dropping off and/or picking up students on time. Club applications will be available near the end of October.
