We talked about winter again today during small group.  We talked about what we like to do in the snow.  We each shared what we like to do.  Some said they like to eat the snow, roll in the snow, make snow angels, and our most popular thing to do in the snow was to have snowball fights.  Each child used white paint to paint them doing his/her favorite thing in the snow and silver glitter.  Then each child dictated what they liked to do.  I wrote it on the bottoms of their paintings.  These are posted outside of our classroom in the hallway.  Come take a look!

I hope everyone had a Happy New Year!  School is back in and going great!  The children know what is expected of them, and it is like we never had a break.  They got right back to it.  I am looking forward to the rest of the school year.  Thank you all so much for the cards and Christmas presents.  You all rock!
