End of the Year Projects....
I know it’s hard to believe, but the end of the year is just around the corner! I would like the students to put all of the writing skills they learned this year to good use and create a memory book.
This month, the students will draft, revise, and edit various pieces as they reminisce over their year. J Everyone’s book will be different as authors select topics and events that are important to them. Some ideas may include: a field day entry, crazy hair day, my first day of school, my favorite funny moment, big changes I made in third grade, what I love best about this year, making great friends, etc…
This memory book will make a wonderful keepsake for 3rd grade! Don’t
you wish our teacher’s had of thought about making these types of
memory keepsakes!! I sure do….
If you have pictures that you would like for your child to include, please send those in ASAP. We have started drafting and those pictures will serve as a GREAT tool to help generate ideas.
The Nifong family has volunteered to help us out with prints that I already have, but please send in more!
