HOME READING FOLDER (COLOURED PLASTIC):
New books will be sent home this week. Please read and return as soon as you have read the book at home. Please sign to show that an adult has heard the reading.

- Fun Friends program - learning to break down a task into steps to make it easier to achieve
- Prepare to lead Mass this Friday
LANGUAGE ARTS -

- Do sound and gesture for the OY sound as in BOY, TOY, OIL. (This is our second last letter sound before we finish our Animated Literacy program!!!!!!)

SCIENCE AND SOCIALS -

- Discuss and learn about the relationship between trees and animals and begin learning about local vs. non local species of birds.
Monday, May 7th:
Garrett and Ben R. are students of the week and will be recognized at the assembly for demonstrating the virtue of LOVE.
Fun lunch (MATTERHORN BAKERY) is served for those who ordered. EVEN IF YOU ORDERED FUN LUNCH, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO STILL PACK AT LEAST 2 SNACK ITEMS, A WATER BOTTLE AND FRUIT OF VEGGIES TO SUPPLEMENT THE LUNCH.
Tuesday May 8th:
- Students will go to the SCHOOL library with Mrs. Bissonnette. Please place the library book in the library bag and send it back to school.
Wednesday, May 9th:
- FRENCH DAY - We will do our greetings and calendar in French practice colours in French and sing some French songs. We are also doing Comment ca va? (how are you?)
Thursday, May 10th:
- If you have been given a reading part for Mass - PLEASE PRACTICE!!!!!!!
Friday, May 11th:
- SCHOOL MASS LED BY KINDERGARTEN - every child will have a special job to do at the Mass. Students must wear their best uniform and a crested item.
- Home review duotangs will be sent home. Please try to find a few minutes to review OY sound.
Another fairly quiet week. Make it a good one!!!!!!
