Book Adventure is in full swing. We go to the library and look for books to read (they can also check books out of the classroom library). The children take a quiz (on the computer - book adventure) on the story they have read. I give them 2-3 weeks to read their library book. If you would like to visit the site - please do (book adventure.com). There is a list of books that your child can read. I have been looking through my library to find books that my students can read as well. If you have any questions about a book, please send it to school and I will look it up. I am checking all of the students books to make sure it is at their reading level. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions about book adventure.
Our next BA test will be May 18th (and will be extra credit or they can do an oral book report for extra credit). They may take their test early if they are finished with their book. Grades for Book Adventure can be found with their Reading grades. If you lost or can't find your pass word to check your child's grades, please notify the office and they will be able to help you.

I can't believe we are in our last month of school ~ where did the time go?
Please ask your child to see their graded papers/Tests or check their grades on-line (if you lost your password, please contact the office and they will be able to help you), so there will be no surprises when report cards come home! I usually return their assignments the next day...so if you have not seen any graded homework/classwork or tests, please ask your child. Remember - if you have any questions about homework, grades etc...my door is always open or you can email me!
