I continue to use your website often for help with the many resources and I have referred the new teachers to it to be able to set things up. We have 3 new teachers, and this is a valuable resource to them as it has always been to me. I hope you will maintain this site for many years to come. I miss you lots Kathy! Hello! Your site is great, we have adopted Reading Street as well. I have had mixed emotions about such a scripted program with SO much material. My question to you is , do you use Frogs as your class theme for the entire school year or does it change?

I am a retired teacher going back into the classroom to teach first grade. Your Reading Street stuff has helped me so much. I am not used to teaching from a scripted program. I DID HAVE TROUBLE SEEING SOME OF THE TITLES ON YOUR FOCUS WALL. Sorry , I hit the caps lock.:>) Do you have them listed anywhere other than on the picture of your wall? Laurie

Shirley, you need to "add a section" choose the more tab and add a "widget". Then when you set up your music player you can copy the "code" it gives you and paste it into the "widget" section you added on your website. The same for the map. Couple of more questions: I've tried to add the music and visitor's map to my website, but all I get is the URL and not the actual map or music page. What am I doing wrong? Also, how do you get your pictures to "pop" out? I just love your website!

ShirleyU7, I'm glad you like our site. If you're interested in adding a visitor map and music to your site, just click on "Create your own..." and it will take you to the site where you can build your own map/music box to add to your page. On Shutterfly you will need to add a section, choose "Widget", then name it what you want, then copy the code from the other site and add it to your site. Hope that helps. Have a wonderful year!
