Welcome to Mrs. Palau's 1st Grade Website! This website will keep you informed all year of what your child is learning in 1st grade.

The Popper word book is the 1st grade Academic Challenge at Caseyville School. The book consist of 220 sight words that 1st graders should know by the end of 1st grade. Each Friday, I test each child one list of the Popper Words. When they complete all twenty-two list they are king/queen for a day with a popcorn crown and their very own special popcorn treat! On the last day of school they will receive a trophy for their accomplishments at the Award Assembly!
