We are currently in our 3rd unit learning about various groups of animals. We will learn about many types of animals, their surroundings, how they protect themselves, and life cycles. We are also finishing our introduction of every letter. We are focusing on mastery of the short vowel sounds within words having the CVC or CVCC (C=consonant; V=vowel) patterns.
We are working on the concept of addition and will begin our unit on money soon.
