Spring Break is March 19-23.  Please enjoy this time off and have your students prepared to come back fully rested for the remainder of the school year! We have a LOT to learn still and our time is winding down.  See you on the 26th!

This website has kind of fallen to the back burner with more going on this year.  I apologize.  Hopefully I can catch back up!

This Thursday 11/10 is the Zoo Field Trip, please send your student wearing their field trip shirt. There will be no homework going home this week and no spelling test.  

This Friday is the last day to submit your scholastic book orders. I will be placing the completed order Friday evening. You can turn you order in to me at school (check) or you can submit your order on line and pay with credit/debit card.   Also, this Friday is the last day to turn in money for our field trip T-shirts.  Remember they are $6 for child and adult sizes!  Thank you and have a wonderful week!

Progress reports are going home today. Please sign one of the copies and send it back on Monday.  If I have requested a conference please let me know ASAP if the date I provided is good for you.  If you have any questions please feel free to email or write a note in your child's agenda.  We are half way through this nine weeks and we still have a lot to do. Please read nightly with your child to ensure their reading success. Also, please complete ALL homework and return EVERY Friday.  Book goals will NOT be met if reading logs are not completed weekly.  Thank you for your continued support at home. In the homework folders today I am sending home a scholastic book club order. I am sending it home now in order to get the "FALL" type books in for you prior to the end of the season.  There are 3 fliers going home today. Please be sure you mark on each form the books you want from that flier.  You can also place your order online instead of sending in a check.  NO CASH PLEASE.   All orders are due by September 30th.  Also, check the right side of this page for our classroom activation code to access online!  Thanks

Orange Homework Folders will be going home today. In the folders you will find a reading log with a response on the back.  Please log 10 books this week and have your student complete the response in THEIR OWN WRITING. You will also find an "activities to bee a good speller" sheet.  Spelling words will be written in the agenda for the corresponding week.  Spelling DOES begin this week.  Thank you for your help at home!

All orders and money for our field trip t-shirts are due by September 30th.  Remember CASH ONLY please!

Our first School Fundraiser of the year went home today.  All orders and money are due back on Wednesday, September 14th.  Checks or money orders are to be made out to Chaffee Trail Elementary.  Please remember DO NOT allow your child to go door to door to sell!
