My name is Marla Short and this is my sixth year teaching. My first year at RCS I taught Reading all day through the Title I Program. Prior to being hired as a teacher here, I did my student teaching and was an Instructional Assistant for Kindergarten and First Grade. I taught third grade for four years. This will be my first year teaching Kindergarten. I am currently working on a master's degree from Union College.
I am married to Matthew Short and we live in Bulls Gap. We have one child, Colby. I attend McKinney's Chapel Baptist Church. Now I spend all my time with Colby and love every minute of it. When I do have free time, I spend it cleaning but I love to take pictures, jog, and read.
