$1
Don't forget your $1 for movie and popcorn tomorrow afternoon.
Week of May 3-7
I will be out of my classroom on Monday and Tuesday. Hopefully I will be back on Wednesday. I will post the homework on the website. Here's a couple of things to be looking for. We will have a Social Studies test on Thursday. Students will get a study guide on Wednesday. They have been helping me by writing the test questions themselves. I'm really proud of how well they have done. On Friday, May 7, grades 4,5,6 will have a movie day in the afternoon. Students need to bring $1 for popcorn and the movie.

There will be a brief informational Band Meeting this Thursday, April 29th at 7:30 following the elementary music program. It will be held in the cafeteria.

I love it when I figure out new technology! I have learned how to post my notes that are on the my Smartboard to my website. If you go to Parent Forms, Letters, etc.. you'll find my notes from today during math. So if you're not sure how to help your child with their homework or they say, "She never taught us how to do that!" you can click here. Today I posted the notes during math class.

This Week 3-1-10
ISTEP is going well. The students are working very hard to do their best. I appreciate all the parents who have insisted on earlier bed times this week. Thank you to everyone who graciously donated the snacks and gum. Our class will be well fed and have fresh breath, that is for sure!
On a different note, boys will be starting swimming on March 15. They may bring a suit and towel from home.
Thanks,
Mrs. Smith
ISTEP NEXT WEEK
Dear Parents,
I'm looking for five parents to provide a snack for the class for our first week of ISTEP. I'm also looking for donations of gum. That's right! GUM. Chewing gum during a test can help keep your mind focused and engaged. If you can help out, drop me a note!
Thanks,
Mrs. Smith
