Congratulations to our class!
Our class has won the hallway AND cafeteria points for the month of September! I know the students work very hard and have done a great job of working together to achieve this goal. Today students will be able to enjoy lunch on the stage instead of at their assigned tables. Way to go :)
Snack Money
If you provide your child with extra lunch money for the purchase of snacks, such as chips, cookies, or ice cream, please indicate your permission in the planner. Students have been purchasing snacks with money that was meant for lunch and are running out of lunch funds by the end of the week so I will not be allowing students to purchase snacks without parent permission.
Book Fair

Open House
Open House is on Thursday, September 8th from 6:00-7:00. A lot of important information about the school year will be discussed. If you are unable to make it, information will be sent home. Hope to see you there!

Orientation went great on Friday! Thank you to everyone who came to school. I meet so many of you :) If you were unable to make it, I will make sure to pass along all information that was given out. Can't wait to see all the wonderful smiling faces tomorrow morning for the first day of 1st grade!

I want you to know that I feel there are some very fortunate children getting a wonderful person as their teacher.
It seems that there are very few people in any walk of life who care as much about their work as you do, and who translate that caring into action and guidance and understanding.
I know that the lessons these children learn -- not only in your classroom, but also by your example -- will help them in years to come.
You're more than just a teacher, you are a very special one.
