We will not have spelling or reading this week.   We will have math.  ISTEP is schduled for Thursday for about an hour.  Mark your calendars for our poetry presentation.  Remember we are off this Friday!

ISTEP week.  Please make sure your child gets a good night sleep and eats breakfast!  No reading story or spelling this week.  I will only be sending home math.

Friday is READ ACROSS AMERICA! 

 

 

Thanks for coming to Winterfest!  This week we are reading Hottest, Coldest, Highest, Deepest.

This is a difficult story due to all the factual information.  My newsletter will be sent home on Wednesday. 

No school on Monday, unless it snows.  This week we will be taking Acuity testing.  We will also be doing the benchmark test. No spelling or reading story.  Have a great week!

Happy New Year!  This week's story is called Volcanoes.  We will be working with irregular verbs, ordinal and Roman numerals.

THis week's story is called Night Letters.  Vocabulary words:  flutter, notepad, patch, fireflies, dew, budding, and blade.

 

We had a fun time on our field trip!  Should put everyone in the mood for Christmas!
