Cindy, Thank you so much! Word Ladder is like a board game. They can play alone or with a partner. They will need a number cube and game pawns, sometimes we use cubes as game pawns. Roll the dice and read that many words, then move that many spaces. If they can't read the words then they can't move. Winner is the first person to reach end.
The Buzz game is played by placing all the cards in a can or sack. Students pull out a card then read the word. If they get a buzz card they have to put all their cards back. The winner is the person with the most cards at the end of the game. I usually play this game whole group, or sometimes a small group of 6-7 students. Hope that helps.
