Zoo
Our first field trip was a complete success! Thank you to all of you especially to the parents that were able to chaperone. Check out the pictures I took at the zoo and if you came and took pictures please upload thoes for us all to enjoy. REMEMBER NO SCHOOL TOMORROW
Week of Nov 7-10th
This week we will not be having homework or new spelling words. Our field trip shirts will be going home on Tuesday. Don't forget to have your students wear them for our trip to the zoo on Thursday. I loved seeing everyone at the carnival! Thank you to everyone who made contributions to making that night great!
VOLUNTEERS
We need volunteers for the Fall Carnival on November 4th. You can help during the morning for decorating or evening (5-9) for booth duty. Time slots are in 30 minute incriments. If you are interested please email me or come by the room and sign up! THANKS AGAIN!

Friday is Picture day!
Monday Folders
In your child's Monday folder you will find field trip permission forms and progress reports. Please return 1 signed copy of the report.
Progress Reports
Progress Reports will go home on Monday due to my absence for a training.
Class T-Shirt Order
T-shirt orders are due by Friday September 30th. Please make sure you pick your child's size.
Homework
In your child's Monday folder you will find lots of goodies for this week. Their reading log and math sheets are due by Friday. Please write on the side of the log whether the child is reading these books or if someone is reading to them, both are fine. You will also find a letter explaining what our math unit is about for this month. Our spelling words are written inside the agenda for this week. We will be having a test Friday. A list of great way to work on spelling words is in the folder as well. Have a great evening and thank you for everything you do.

Busy week ahead!
Please don't forget that Wednesday we release students at 1:45. I would like to have everyone that can at Open House on Thursday night. Open House starts at 6pm.
Monday Folders
Parents I sent home Monday folders today. This folder will house papers, completed work, and after Labor Day it will have homework. Please take all the paperwork for you and then send back the folder by this Friday. Thank you!
