2nd Fast
I started my fast yesterday, this time I'm doing it alone, my youth group isn't doing with me this time, yep, that's right, this is my own time with God doing this on my own accord, It's just me and Jesus :-)
This is the second day of my fast, I have done real well, and enjoy very much seeking God continually all through out the day. Each day I have been spending more and more time with God and " running hard " after him as my friend Michelle would call it ;-)
I also have continued to loose allot of weight and it has been coming off quickly since Sunday evening alone, since I have only been drinking water and juice ( more water than juice ) But also diluting the juice. I have lost 4 pounds already, I guess for us fuller figured folks it comes off quicker, lol :-D !
Anyway, thats good too because I will be the maid of honnor at my best friends wedding this weekend , and I want to look good :-) Anyway, things are going so well in my life and it's because I am staying in the spirit and seeking God and listening to his voice and obeying him. Serving God is the coolest most beautiful expirience of my life and I love the Lord so much and have grown quite a bit since I moved back here from Houston in 2007. Things are realy looking up for me and all praies to God, I am going to continue to seek him and resist the enemy no matter what it takes. God has made me strong and he will continue to make me wiser the more I seek him. Thank you Lord for putting fasting on my heart, I love to spend time in your presence oh Father!!!!!!!! Amen!
Weight Loss
Since the fast I have lost some inches around my waist and other places. I have been eating right and healthy and times not even anything at all, my appetite is under control and all praise to God for his strength. and I believe God has called me to another fast. I will Start this weekend on Sunday - Thursday. I will break it Thursday evening. of next week. My internal stomach is shrinking and I don't eat nearly half as much as I use to. I am so thankful to the Lord. My best friend is getting married next week, and I will be slimmed down a bit and in much better shape and more toned in my arms and abdominal area. During my fast I plan to exercise. I am so excited. After the wedding pictures will be available on the site for you to view, Well, I better cut this short, time to go spend time with Jesus :-) I love you Lord!
Will you Fast?
Last night was great, I went to the gathering and the sermon was on Fasting. Isaiah ch. 58.
God has called me and my youth this weekend to a fast, from all day Saturday to Sunday evening, to remember that fasting is not about giving up food so to speak but it is allowing us to think of others and those who need it more, the ones who hurt and are starving and don't have any food to eat, all over the world.
God has called us to be a nation of giving our self, our food and to give food and water to those who are in dire need of it.
Lets not think of our self when there are others out there who need us and need our food much more than we need it
Fasting is about making God so much a part of your life it's a deeper connection to really let God in and clean out all the junk that in you so he can set you free. As much time as you give to God and fast and seek him continually, you will know him and he will draw very close to you!
We must fast and remember whats important, it's not so much about denying food but spending a large amount of time with God through obedience and standing for those who need it more than us.
We live in a world today , where man is selfish and desires what only his sinful desire and flesh want.
The fast of ones self, is to sacrifice their own wants and desires, to draw close to God and to give others the opportunity to be fed and taken care of. We Christians need to stand up for what God wants and not our own desires.
Will you, Fast??
Cold and Wet, Warm and peacful
I woke up today after much rest feeling ready to seek Gods face. Outside it was cold and wet after the weather being real dry and warm days before. When i entered Gods presence my body wasn't much into it but my heart and soul was ready for whatever God had for me. It took me awhile to get into it but Gods grace came over me and felt so good to be held by God and to be led by the holy spirit. I told God I was not going to leave until he filled me with his love, grace and mercy. His blood washed over me and The Lord and I was as one together. The intimate moment between us was so real and it felt amazing! God is so faithful to us if we will just stay long enough in our hiding place to give him a chance to respond to his call. And trust me, once you have made up your mind, you are not going to leave Gods presence until he makes himself known to you, it is the most humbling and beautiful experience you will know when taking the time to actually give God a chance to show his peace and mercy to you. Trust me, when you are in need of him and you are born again, the holy spirit will do a mighty work! Praise Jesus, you are worthy to be praised :-)
Encouraged
From the adoption videos I have got so much encouraging feed back, it's nice to know that people are truly responding and admiring me for making the right decisions with my girls. Thanks you guys for all the encouragement.

This morning I woke up
I woke up this morn feeling not myself, Satan has already begun tempting me and putting thoughts in my head. I am a little frustrated today. But I have to stay in the faith and seek God and spend time with him, if I don't I am going to have a bad day and not know how to deal with it, God is so good and he is in control! Thank you God for another day and loving me, I wont let you down today, even though I already feel slightly rebellious already, I will seek the Lord this morning and make him first ;-) All Glory to God, on the highest.

My heart goes out to you. Just have faith and everything will work out. Being a birth mother myself for 16 years has been a eternal struggle but with faith I will be reunited with my daughter soon. She has contacted me recently. And having a open heart is the best advice I have. What you did was unselfish...just take this time to work on your inner self. And everything will fall into place. Your story is so great!! My husband and I want to adopt and are so lost. When you found out you were pregnant did you go through an adoption agency or a lawyer? I wish I would just run into someone who needed to find a family for their baby!! Let me know if you have any tips for us. We are hopeful that one day we may get the privillage of parenting:)
