Someone once said, "A camera captures the world in single moments, one frame at a time". I agree and I also believe that pictures speak about who we are. Through the camera, expressions can be frozen in time, and a smile can last, well...forever.

At My Eye Photography we won't ask for fake smiles or ask you to dress up. Come as you like, and be ready to have fun! We want to capture you in that moment when your mind isn't lost in the world, then provide you with quality images of that moment at a low price. Nothing fancy, just good pictures of you being you.

Who are YOU? Who do you want the world to see?

When someone looks at a picture they can see many things. I look for character within the subject. I like to capture it as well.

This is why at My Eye Photography we try to capture you, not you being just another face on a wall.

When we shoot we hope to get the kind of shots that show the true character and attitude of the model. That look that makes viewers think to themselves, "Ive been there. I know that feeling". We hope to capture that look of life, the expression that screams "this is me world, like it or not".

Maybe we could do this for you. Or... you could just sit in front of a backdrop. You make the choice, we take the shot.

We will do our best to capture quality shots of you, your family, your pets, favorite hiking trail, favorite car, an old house, etc. etc. We don't limit ourselves to selling you a "portrait package". Instead, for your dollar, we give you as many shots and poses as time will allow. Sessions start as low as $50. And the best part? We will shoot at the location of your choice. Is there a certain place where you would like to be photographed? Tell us and we'll see what we can do to make it happen. In front of a building, in your house, in a cave, or in front of a waterfall. If we can get our camera there, we'll shoot it!

A little more about us to help you decide...

Most portrait studios give you a set number of prints and only two or three poses to choose from for your dollar. 2 or 3 poses and 5 or 6 sheets of print? Is that really worth over $100? We don't think so! We think there is a better way. Since we do our work primarily on cd/dvd, you are not so limited in what you get. No matter how many different poses or sets we take during your session, if you like them all, you get them all. By doing it this way, you have more control over your picture choices and where, when and what size to print the pictures...As you need them.

Our one hour sessions start at $50.00 (cd/dvd included) and includes lots of smiles for a low price. Put your favorite pics on your pc, print as many copies as you want any time you want, e-mail them to friends and family, or hang them on the wall. Need to know more? Just drop us a line.

Beautiful Bats

Mosquitos? BAD!!!! Bats?? GOOD!!!!

mosquito is very much disliked and unwelcome. If this is the case for you, then you really need to appreciate Bats! These furry little misunderstood mammals are, well, hands down the worlds best and most effective natural mosquito control agent! Some bats can consume up to three times its own weight in mosquitoes and other flying insects each and EVERY night. For that reason alone Bats are good friends to have around.

(Don't believe those who tell you they are dirty and carry disease. Bats are actually one of the cleanest mammals on Earth! They are wrongfully blamed for rabies as well. Only one half of one percent out of a million bats will get rabies. And those rare ones that do get sick rarely fly or feed.)

Unfortunatly, these gentle, helpful friends are dying by the millions. This means the mosquitoes are not being controlled as well as in the past. A disease called "White Nose Syndrome" is destroying our bats, which means the mosquito population could be getting worse very soon.

PLEASE go to Bat Conservation International's web site to learn more about White Nose Syndrome and about how helpful and needed Bats are in our world.
