December Halau Monthly Challenge - Ornament

Each halau will decorate eachothers Christmas tree. The main ornament representing the "home" halau shall remain at the top of the tree. Send your ornaments to each halau and the halau who best utilizes the ornaments received by the other halau will receive a prize by Kumu. (Due date to send the ornaments to each halau will be posted later*)

 

All submissions will be reviewed and chosen by Kumu. It is NOT required, but participation is encouraged. Any registered hauman can enter, and prizes to be awarded via postman or on Kumu's next visit. Winning entries will be posted on this website.

November Halau Monthly Challenge - Thanksgiving
In the spirit of the holiday, what are you grateful to the Hawaiian culture for? Share it with your Po'o and/or Alaka'i to forward to Kumu. This should be emailed to Kumu by the end of November.

All submissions will be reviewed and chosen by Kumu. It is NOT required, but participation is encouraged. Any registered hauman can enter, and prizes to be awarded via postman or on Kumu's next visit. Winning entries will be posted on this website.

October Halau Monthly Challenge - Scenario

"We are at war and major disaster looms. All world leaders are summoned and no one has a solution to fix all that is wrong. Frustrated and disappointed, the room is silent. The door opens and a Kupuna walks in. What does this Kupuna say?"
