2009 Leadership in Sustainability Awards

On November 7th, 2009 the Leadership Institute for Ecology and the Economy celebrated their tenth year of educating and inspiring community leaders to create public policy that is environmentally friendly and socially equitable for a healthy economy and a sustainable community. This celebration was marked by an awards ceremony that recognized and celebrated community leaders who have displayed remarkable achievements in creating socially, economically and environmentally sustainable communities. The award winners are a powerful group of leaders and organizations leading the way to a sustainable future.
