4-H Logo on Jeff Gordon Car

For many years 4-H has been looking for a chance to partner with NASCAR. On Sunday,

October 4 the 4-H clover and  website address will be featured

on the back TV panel of Jeff Gordon’s No. 24 DuPont

Chevrolet at the Kansas Speedway. What a great way to

kick-off National 4-H Week, October 4-10 and gain additional exposure for 4-H.

Become a youth community helper!

The 4-H Program at NCA&TSU, with the help of the Walmart Foundation and National 4-H Council is working to assemble the “4-H Force of 100” youth, ages 13-16, who will be trained to help their community and state fight health issues like diabetes, obesity, strokes and heart disease in the minority community.  It is our hope that a cadre of trained youth can help in the resolution of these problems.

If you work with  minority youth in 4-H and other community efforts consider sending a team that can return and do programs in their community to address these issues.

Information about the project can be found at: http://www.ag.ncat.edu/extension/ForceOf100/index.html
