We are coming down to the final days of try-outs. The boys have been doing a great job of competing. Try-outs have been as competitive as ever.
Last night we had our first meeting with Ken Mertz (mental coach) who has worked with many area colleges (see St. Francis-NAIA National Champions-2009-2010). We are very excited to add such an integral part to our season.
Also, our motto for the year is "The Bulldog Way" which is a spin-off of the media title given to the Butler Bulldogs last year as they made their run at a national title. The message behind the motto is that everybody has to be ready to step up when they are called upon, and that there are no stars, just a collective group of confident individuals willing to do anything for the team. Simply put----The Bulldog Way!
I have attached a tentative schedule for the season. We are looking at having the Parent Meeting on November 17 at 6:00 P.M. We will have a meeting and a 4 quarter intersquad game. Q1-Freshman, Q2-JV, Q3-Q4-Varsity.
