Northampton Light The Night - northamptonlightthenight

On Sunday, September 13, 2009, over 315 walkers on 43 teams participated in the 11th annual Northampton Light The Night Walk in Look Memorial Park. As was done in 2008, Gary Rome Hyundai of Holyoke once again graciously sponsored a Hyundai Hope On Wheels Handprint Ceremony. During the ceremony, local childhood cancer patients/survivors decorated a white Hyundai Santa Fe with their handprints, an act symbolizing the "stamping out" of childhood cancers. This year, the Northampton Light The Night Walk will raise the most it ever has, coming in close to $71,000. Congratulations and thank you walkers!
