The Media Center is a busy and important part of North Jackson Elementary School. Not only do classes visit the Media Center once a week for story time, research, instructional skills, technology needs, check-outs, but students are allowed to visit anytime throughout the day as a need arises. Because students participate in the Accerlerated Reader Program, most books in the Media Center are now part of the program. A current AR title list, as well as and on-line catalog of available books in the Media Center can now be accessed on the school's web page.
