Val's Coaching Philosophy
Val’s passion for coaching comes from not just the game itself, but also from a desire to help youth achieve and accomplish their goals. This includes helping them grow both as soccer players and individuals. Val takes this approach in all aspects of coaching and he wants his players to learn and grow in all 4 pillars of soccer (Technical, Tactical, Physical, and Mental). Motivating his players to be their best, to not except mediocrity, is a big part of his method.
Val's Playing Experience
After playing high school and select soccer in California, Val played two collegiate seasons each at UCLA, and San Jose State.
