The C Grade Table-tennis Team won the Champion of the Inter-school Table-tennis Championships (Division II). A total of 10 school teams participated in the single knock-out system in the final round of the championships on 21st March, 2010 (Sunday). Our school team beat St. Joseph's College in the final match to secure the champion. Congratulations!

After seven months of tough training conducted by the coach Mr. Wan Chi Yuen, our C Grade Basketball Team beat Kwai Wah Shan College and won the Champion in the Inter-school Basketball Championship (Division One) last Friday (12.3.10). We secure the 2nd Runners-up in the overall position. We would like to send our sincere thanks to the supporting teachers and students.

10th Hong Kong Group Scouts achieved the highest award of the Scout Section in
Cheung Ho Fai, Benjamin (F.5F), Wu Tsun Hei, Wallace (F.5C) and Li Chi Ho, Andrew (F.5D) have recently achieved the "Chief Scout's Award" - the highest award of the Scout Section in Scout Association of Hong Kong. To achieve the "Chief Scout's Award", one has to satisfy the requirements in the aspects of scoutcraft, adventure, culture, community, health, self- commitment, social services, leadership and proficiency badges. It normally takes 3-4 years for a Scout to complete all the requirements. Physical Action is an essential and integral part of student learning experiences. It makes significant contributions toward the achievement of desirable education and health outcomes through the medium of physical activity, expedition, sports participation and competitive games. Quality physical action programs promote the physical growth and development of students while contributing to their general health and well being. Ultimately, they should help students keep physically fit and enjoy many forms of physical activity during the school years and continuing throughout life. We envision students moving efficiently, enjoying physical activity, developing physical fitness, and pursuing wellness as a part of lifelong learning.
PHYSICAL ACTION REQUIREMENTS
Students are required to satisfy the following physical action requirements. They should carefully plan their physical action activities and reflect on their learning experiences.
i) Complete the SPORTACT scheme (Bronze Level or above) jointly held by the LCSD and SPC.
ii) Complete ONE Recreation and Sports Course offered by SPC, local sports organisations or the LCSD, eg. Life-saving Course, Archery Course, Judo Course, Swimming Course, First Aid Certificate Course, Fencing etc (Exemptions may be given to sports team members)
iii) Actively participate in other sports events (refer to Sports Event and Sports Team Table)
Optional: Scout Movement, Sports Captain Programme, Marathon 101 Education Programme & SPORTFIT Scheme, Global Classroom.
