Welcome New Scouts, and Welcome Back Existing Scouts!

Registration for 2012 is starting Now!

This year the BSA is requiring our Pack to register all Scouts and Leaders by mid-November.  This means all dues and paperwork needs to be turned in by the Middle of October, at the very latest.

Volunteer Leaders also have a small training requirement to complete.

Starting in mid-Sept, Carolyn and Dorothy will be handing out paperwork to each family in order to clearly communicate what is required.  Overall, dues will be the same this year as they were last year.

We will be collecting the following:

1) All registration dues and fees for 2012 ($65 per Scout)

2) Vehicle Insurance Info (to ensure you are covered when carpooling)

3) Health Forms (to ensure you can participate in camping this year and next)

I have added an easy way to register, there is a locked box on my front porch so you can drop in checks and all paperwork in a secure location.  I live very near OLL School, so hopefully this will be another easy way to get the paperwork done.

Call/email me for my address.

2011 Pack Recharter Fee

To All Members of OLL Pack 740

It is that time of year for the Pack to Recharter for the 2011 Scout year.  For those of you that do not know, Recharter is a requirement by Boy Scouts of America to annually renew our Pack Charter.  “This assures that the Chartered Organization still is using Scouting’s programs to serve youth and assures that the unit roster is up to date at least once a year.”  The Recharter fee for all Tigers, Wolves, Bears and Webelos I will be $65 ($15 BSA dues, $12 Boys Life, $2 Insurance and $36 Pack Dues).  Webelos II will be $41 ($15 BSA dues, $12 Boys Life, $2 Insurance and $12 Pack Dues).

I will start collecting Recharter payments at the October 22 Pack meeting and will continue collecting through the November 20 Pack meeting.  I will also make attempts to attend Den meetings in November to collect payments.  Any scout that has not submitted their Recharter fee to me by November 20 will not be registered for the January 1 to December 31, 2011 Scout year.  Please make your check out to OLL Pack 740.

Thanks in advance!

2009 November Potluck dinner & Pack Meeting- Saturday 11/21 7:00PM SHARP!

TurningEyes2009 November Potluck dinner & Pack Meeting- Saturday 11/21 7:00PM SHARP! - The pack will provide Turkey & Ham entrees, as well as some chicken nuggets for those who may prefer them. Please look below for a guideline of what to bring by category. If you have a particular dish that you would like to share with the pack, please do so. Several of us will be there well prior preparing the Turkeys, so if you wish, you can drop off your dish prior to mass- which may save some hassle. We will commence dinner at 7, and roll into the pack meeting about 7:30.

Due to the 5:30 mass, and in an effort to maintain decorum, do not enter through the church entrance or use the elevator. Instead, please enter the social hall through the stairwell just past the church office. We will try and have a sign as a reminder too.
