My name is Miriam Olesen and I am the owner and breeder of OMEGABULLDOGS. I hope you enjoy your visit and the pictures of my Bulldogs.
I raised my first litter of Bulldogs on October 31, 1994 along with my daughter, Rachel. From that first litter, we acquired our first Bulldog, Trixie. Soon after that we acquired Rose, a friend and companion for Trixie. Rachel, who had long been active in obedience competition with our Dobermans, decided she would like to enter the conformation ring by showing the 2 Bulldogs. Soon, with the help of some very nice long-timer Bulldoggers, she started winning ribbons and championship points for our girls. Although neither of the 2 girls completed their championships--Rose had to "retire" with 8 points due to leg injury requiring surgery; and Trixie, with Rachel to train and partner her, received her AKC CD title proving Bulldogs are not stupid--we became hooked on Bulldogs and decided to see what we could accomplish through our own breeding.
Thus the start of OMEGABULLDOGS.
I am very proud of our accomplishements. With Rachel's expert and beautiful handling, I, as owner and listed breeder of OMEGABULLDOGS, am in The Bulldog Club of America's Hall of Fame as a Breeder of Champion Bulldogs. Today, with Rachel's marriage and subsequent move to Illinois, where she is developing her own line of Bulldogs under the kennel name Dog Gone, I continue to show and breed on a more limited basis. I am located in the very small mountain community of Anza, California. Anza is in Southern California about 2 hours north of San Diego or centered 45 minutes from the cities of Temecula, Hemet , and Palm Desert. This move was made to better accommodate the Bulldogs. On our 9 acres they have a 2000 sq. ft. palace to call their own: 8 ft x 8 ft indoor rooms and 8 ft x 12 ft outdoor runs complete with central airconditioning and heating. (Puppies, however, are still raised in my bedroom).
My goal in breeding is to produce beautiful Bulldogs as described by the standard. My Bulldogs' pedigrees contain some of the top Bulldogs in the country--many in The Bulldog Club of America's Hall of Fame. I strive for good health and long life which I back up with my Purchase Agreement. I want to breed a happy dog with good temperament that is a joy to live with. Most of all I want to produce a dog, whether pet or show, that its owner is proud to call "his dog" and that I can be proud came from Omega. For me, showing validates my role as a breeder. Every time a judge awards my dog a ribbon is proof that I am attaining my goal to produce a quality Bulldog.

OLDER--BUT NOT NECESSARILY OLD--GIRLS
Puppies--as cute as they are-- are not always for everyone. They can be a lot of work requiring training and housebreaking. They may be too high energy for an older couple. Or too fragile for a family with very young children. Occassionally I have kept a pup (usually a girl) for myself as a potential show prospect which for one reason or another has not "turned out". Or I have an older girl who is no longer going to have pups. Or perhaps just a girl I feel would be happier with her very own family to be loved and spoiled as an only girl in a forever home. They may be as young as 6 months or as old as 6 years. Their health to the best of my knowledge is excellent. They hopefully have a number of very good years ahead of them. Their price--depending usually on age--may be free, substantially reduced from my puppy prices, or full price. But they come fully loaded with love and wet kisses.
