Welcome
Pacific Manta Research Group currently focuses on the manta rays of the Revillagigedos Islands, Mexico. Our photo-ID database reaches from 1978 to the present, with over 384 individuals identified, of which 126 have been seen more than once. We have listening stations at the islands currently, noting the presence of tagged mantas. Enjoy our little page, and please contact us if you have questions or answers about these friendly yet mysterious fish.
