Hi All,
We are fast approaching Casini Ranch! We have ~64 people signed up!
We are beginning to buy food and stuff next week, so needless to say I need money, clams, dinero, cash, greenbacks, dead presidents, cabbage and any other colloquialism we can think of for Americas weakened dollar.
Cost is $25 each or $80 maximum per family, if you could send a check backpack mail on Monday, written to Pack 44 it would be greatly appreciated!!
As always, any questions contact me…

All,
Tonight’s meeting will be short and sweet, the Pack is beginning to fall apart and some decisions will need to be made.
I have just been informed, my Tiger leader has stepped down, nobody attended the Bear den meeting and I suspect tonight’s turn out will be low.
See you tonight….

One more thing…
You should all be receiving an invite for Scout Manage in your email, please accept the invitation and follow the sign up instructions. This is the software we are using this year to track the boys and basically run the pack…
Any problems or questions, don’t hesitate to contact me, I would like to get everyone signed up before the Pack meeting…
Thanks!!

We will be having our first Pack meeting on Monday, September 26th in the Brinker room at St Eugene’s.
Please make every effort to be there as we will be using this time as an opening for this years Scout program…
We will be going over the tentative schedule, meeting the new and returning leaders and families!!!
This year’s dues are $85 and would like to collect also, along with any monies owed from last year….
Have a great weekend!!!!

Hi All,
This will be my final email until we meet up at Casini Ranch, since I will likely be up all night trying to put 10lbs of s**t into a 5 lb bag!!
I will be leaving my house around 1:30 tomorrow for Casini, we can begin checking in at 2:00 o’clock. We are under ‘Pack 44 Cub Scouts’, they have a pretty militant check in procedure, so try to be patient…
We are in the West Area this year so those of you who have attended before, don’t be shocked…
Basically all you need is tents, air mattresses/sleeping pads, clothes, and any special dietary things you might need. We will be BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs tomorrow night for dinner and partaking in our beverage of choice.
Saturday, we will be having Pancakes, Eggs, Sausage and fruit for breakfast, Sandwiches for lunch and Tri-tip and Pasta for dinner…
I did not buy any cold cereal so if this is a must for your kids, bring some with you…
They have a well stocked general store, and Safeway is not to far away so adjustments can be made…
See you at Casini!
As always don’t hesitate to call!

Hello all,
Just a few notes about our Casini Ranch camp out. Casini Ranch is located in the town of Duncans Mills. A Google maps search will point you in the right direction. We can start to check in as early as 2:00 on Friday afternoon. The "official" program starts at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Alcoholic beverages will be allowed up until then.
The boys should have their Class A uniform for Saturday night's awards ceremony, but will want their Class B t-shirt during the day. I will have more t-shirts available for sale. They are $12 each or 2 for $20 and I have many different sizes.
If your son has a bicycle, you're welcome to bring it. Many of the boys ride all over the camp ground. I know it's not popular with the boys, but no electronic devices will be allowed. Please have your son leave all DS's, DSi's, iPods, etc. home. Cell phones, if they have them, should be used only in an emergency and most likely won't work much there anyhow.
We seem to have pretty much everything we need. The only thing we ask you to bring is drinks (soda, water, juice), and snacks (candy, chips, energy bars), and a tent or two to sleep in. BSA rules do not allow boys from other families to sleep in a tent with other families. The scouts are welcome to sleep in a tent together, but not with other families.
We have what I think is a great program set up for the boys. At a minimum, each boy should go home with at least 5 belt loops. They should have a really good time.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. You can email me or call me at (707) 849-4141.
See you at Casini!!
Keith
