Longest continuous stretch of Route 66. Some great places to stop and check out the local culture. Starting in Seligman at the Snow Cap drive in or Angel's Barbershop to the General Store in Hackberry and the don't miss stop at the Route 66 Museum in Kingman. There's lot's to do and more if you decide to stay on the road and head to Oatman.
The part of Route 66 in AZ that most people miss is actually stopping and talking to the people of the towns and shops along the way. On one of our adventures on Route 66 I was actually able to meet and get a haircut from Angel Delgadio, know as the father of Route 66 in AZ. He grew up in Seligman and became the barber in that town. So many people and stories, so little time...
