Thank you for answering the pictures and post. Lisa is very beautiful. She takes after her mother. Does she sing too? I really enjoyed my gospel tape. I was going through a tough time when I received it and I listen to Peggy every night. Thank you for passing my information on the Peggy. I'm sure she's a lovely person. I miss my Granny too.

If this is an official fan club website I would like to order Peggy's gospel album. I was given that tape when I was a kid and it helped me sleep. She has a beautiful voice. I enjoy her music on u-tube. Well hope she is doing well, haven't heard anything about the Little's in along time.. blessings

I lost contact with Peggy in the late 70's, we lived in a duplex and she was our neighbor. I often wonder what happened to her. For a little woman she had a powerful voice! We celebrated her and Cecil's birthday in July and we moved about 2 weeks later to a new job, so Peggy if you see this e-mail me at cngray1@cox.net, thanks again for the fun and making me feel welcome in Smyra, Tn.

I love my friend Peggy. She is the reason I am a Christian today. She took to an all night prayer meeting and Jesus Christ entered my heart and life forever. No great gift could I have ever received. Peggy was friends with my famly and my Dad, Red Densman, used to play and sing with her. Dad mentioned her Friday, he is 89 now, so I promised him I would try to contact her. I sent an email to the posted email for her. Hope all is well with her and family. Would love to talk and catch up. Rama

I have a story I would love to share. Peggy LIttle came to my town to preform in the fall of 1971. I was nine years old. Some of my family was involved in the production and I got to meet her and talk to her for a little while before the show. I wore a brace on my leg and was scheduled to have surgery. I told her I was scared and she prayed with me. We talked about Jesus and our love for him. About a week later I received a glossy picture of her that she had autographed. On the picture she said she would be praying for me and that if I believed, God would let it be my last surgery. (the doctors had predicted at least 2 more) I believed her words and trusted Jesus....It was my last surgery. Even Doctors today cannot explain why I did not have to have more. Peggy also became friends with my Aunt Minnie Lou Ledbetter (also called Mickey). She visited her several times before my aunt died of cancer. I will never forget this women who changed my life in so many ways.
My daughter is 12 and loves singing about Jesus. Everytime she sings I am reminded of Peggy's voice and her love of God. I would love to one day be able to thank her in person. If not in this life I know I will have eternity to thank her and once again hear her sing.

Hi, I just found your nice site for Peggy Little. I recently created a wikipedia page for Peggy, amazing no one had done it before but then it is pretty hard to find information about her. I would like to post her birthday on the page but I haven't been able to find it.
I have been a Peggy Little fan since I was a child, my favorites of her songs being "Little Golden Band", "Listen Spot", "Sugar Man", "Little Henry Hurt", and of course "Son of a Preacher Man". In fact I was quite suprised as I grew older to learn somebody named Dusty Springfield had also recorded that song LOL - it was always a Peggy Little song to me, and still is.
Please tell Peggy she still has many fans who have never forgotten her and I'm certainly one of the biggest. Best wishes, Tom

Peggy is a wonderful woman. I have known her for nearly 30 years, she in many ways has been like a second mother to me considering my mother and her are best of friends. Definetly keep her and her family in your prayers, many, many blessing ahead.
