Unfortunately, bad weather so far this winter has kept me from getting out into the field and doing what I have to in order to make as many new additions to the site as I wanted to. I gave going to Haiti with my buddy Chuck to get some pictures for several publications, but getting thru security on the island without a badge or health worker credentials is extremely difficult right now. However, I DO have some plans to do some traveling this spring in order to add to the portfolio.

What type of subject matter are you most interested in?

On this site I've made an effort to display a very wide range of subject matter to both demonstrate what I consider versatility and technique. Obviously, there are some areas I like more than others. For me shooting "candid" portraits is an adventure. How bout you? What type of subject matter interests you most?

Picture quality and clarity

I'm thinking that the key element in a great shot has more to do with picture quality and clarity than composition and other stuff that artists and photographers often find important. I can forgive poor composition, and a picture can still have emotional impact as long as it's focused and pleasant to view. What do you think?
