Second Grade Immersion
"A" is for alphabet, come take a look, the second grade is drafting their own ABC book. Some students are rhyming, using similes too, each is unique, with their own point of view!
Third Grade ELA
The last reading selection in our science unit is "The Great Kapok Tree" written by Lynne Cherry. During this reading experience I will emphasize the following literary elements: author's purpose, descriptive language, and persuasive techniques. Students will then write their own cautionary tale persuading others to maintaining nature's delicate balance.
Fourth Grade ELA
Students are sharpening their pencils to begin writing their own original historical fiction stories. Please adhere to the format instructions, as this is our last formal writing project of the year. Typed drafts are due Monday, May 21st.
Fifth Grade ELA
Our Photo-doc project is due on Tuesday, May 22nd.
