The Pinewood Lake Swim Team is a member of the Northern Virginia Swim League (NVSL). Our athletes are comprised of children between the ages of 5 and 18 years. Whether you are a beginner or skilled swimmer, you will enjoy swimming with us. As members of the NVSL, our goal is the same as the league which is to foster a love for the sport, advanced aquatic skills, teamwork, and the principles of good sportsmanship.
Our season begins on Memorial Day weekend and lasts for eight weeks, which includes two weeks of conditioning and 6 weeks of competitions against the 5 other teams in our division of the Northern Virginia Swim League. We end each season with an awards banquet because we are all winners!!
Although you won't see us in London this year, you can see us in Pinewood. And who knows, perhaps one of these Olympic years you can say you knew us when...
