Our Family ...

Our family story starts in October 1977 at the Salt Lake City Airport.

Dave was leaving to serve a two year mission for the LDS Church and Mindy was at the airport to see her brother Mark who was leaving to the same mission.  Dave and Mindy met briefly, but it was enough to start a two year correspondence and within six months of Dave's return from his mission they were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple (January 1980).

Eighteen months later Tyson was born and eighteen months after Tyson, Tiara and Taylor were born.  Mindy was 22 years old, Dave was 24 and they were the parents of three kids under the age of two.  They waited a few years before we had any more kids.

After a four year wait, Tania was born and the family stood at two boys and two girls.  That was it for having kids; or was it?

Dave and Mindy went back and forth on whether to have another child, until eight years after Tania; and about the time Dave and Mindy had decided they were really finished having any more kids, Mindy got pregnant and Teagan was born.

While Teagan marked the end of Dave and Mindy having children, his birth did not marked the end of the growth of the family.

Tyson married Stephanie and they have four children (Carson, Josie, Marley and Kallie).  Taylor married Shasta and they have three children(Kylee, Avery and Makell).  Tania married Paul Greenhalgh and they have a little girl (Adilee) and Tiara is married to Dan Smith and is expecting a baby girl next month.

That puts our family at 19.  Wow ... it grew fast!

It's a great family!

Tiara gets married!!!

Our oldest daughter Tiara got married this weekend in the Salt Lake LDS Temple to Daniel Thomas Smith.

It was a beautiful wedding, luncheon and reception.  Family came from as far away as Alberta, Pennsylvania and Ontario.

We especially want to thank those who made themselves available for us to heap tons of work on them.  Without these special people this wouldn't have been half the success it was.

Thank you all so much.
