In fall of 2008 - 09 Pleasant Hill and Hillcrest combined, merging the school populations, creating three classes at each grade. This has been a positive support to our staff and students, eliminating teachers working in isolation. Hillcrest hosts our kindergarten-third grade population and Pleasant Hill our fourth-sixth grade population totaling nearly 500 students and their families.
Due to budget concerns and school board directives, Pleasant Hill School will be repurposed saving the district precious resources during this time of recession. To that end we are inviting you, a past member of the Pleasant Hill family, to a celebration of the history enjoyed here at Pleasant Hill.

These thumbprints are just a mere sample
of the many lives you have touched
They represent how much you mean
To this entire Pleasant Hill Bunch
We appreciate the time you spend
helping us to learn and grow
Your gentle touches and caring words
Mean more to us then you know
We hope our thumbprints will remind you
Of the many hands you've held so tight
And the many frowns you've turned to smiles
The dark, gloomy days you've made so bright
Whenever you find you need a lift
These little thumbprints are here to say
You're special, you're great and we love you
We shall think of you every day
