Last Day of School
Today and every day, we are very thankful for you and your support of Puckett’s Mill Elementary. Whether through PTA donations, time spent in classrooms working with children, or at home sup-porting your own children your efforts mean so much to us. Schools are only as good as their com-munities and because of you… Puckett’s Mill is one very special place for children!
The school year is winding down, and I know you are all looking forward to summer. I have some information regarding Summer Reading to share.
The theme this year is Dream Big. The teen theme (for those going into 6th grade) is Own the Night. The library already knows the lineup of summer reading events, but they haven't been posted to the website quite yet.
Online registration for Summer Reading begins May 1st.
The library will begin registering in the branches on May 20th, and the program runs through August 10th.
Hamilton Mill's Summer Reading Kick-off event will be June 8th at 10:30 am with magician and ventriloquist Keith Karnock.

decent progress during the school year.
It’s summer when they fall behind.”
