FAQ

What is the deal with the project site being moved to a picture site?

Shutterfly bought out the Nexo site wich was a community building site. Nexo has all of the latest functions, tools and editing capabilities to make a great community. Shutterfly has integrated all of these features and technology to their Shutterfly site. Now on top of having unlimited storage on pictures they also give us the ability to create logical communities to fit our project and needs. Everything from the page layout to the albums to the content can be edited with ease after the small learning curve of figuring out how to do it. Organization is something that, "Portrait Freedom" was long overdue for and its  wonderful to find a site like this that will allow such flexability. We ask for your patience as we work the kinks out and get things up an rolling smoothly again. Thanks for being there for us to keep this project going!!

Does my old password still work for this shutterfly site?

No, unfortunately the, "Portrait Freedom" project had to move its home location and we could not migrate everything as easy as we could with other sites but due to the features and ease of use we have decided to us this area. This forces us to ask you to join this site. Its a one time thing like when you joined the MSN groups sites and you will not have to do it again. We do have the option as editors to add you to the group. We need your email to set you up as a group member. You would have to check your email after we set you up and it will have something for you to click on to confirm your membership  with us.

Do you have to be a shutterfly membe to add pictures and comments?

Yes, you need to sign up as a Shutterfly member o add pictures and comments.

What’s the difference between a site “member” and a “non-member"

“Members” have more privileges on your Share site than non-members do. You can permit members to contribute content, add pictures and more. In addition, members are notified of site updates automatically (although they can decide how often they wish to receive notifications).

What are permission levels and how do they differ?

Permission levels are a way for you to control the level of access that visitors and members have to your site. There are four levels for visitors and two extra levels for members:

· No Access cannot view your site

· Readers can view your site

· Commenters can view and comment on your site site

· Contributors can view, comment, add and edit their own content on your site

· Editors can view, comment, add and edit all content on your site (Members only)

· Owners can add and edit all content and customize your site (Members only)
