The Purpose of the Inter Greek Council (I.G.C) at Pratt Institute is to serve as the sole governing body of all Greek lettered organizations on campus. It coordinates events sponsored by its members, provides funding, and establishes a common ground for all fraternities, sororities, and academic organizations. In doing so I.G.C. continuously strives to foster a positive sense of community between Greek lettered organizations and the student body, as well the promotion of quality brotherhood and sisterhood among the chapters it governs. The Council shall provide a communicative network within the Greek community and work to encourage healthy relationships amongst the organizations while performing as the liaison between its members and the Pratt community.
