Tips On Eating More Plant Proteins Rather Than Meat


The population today is becoming more health conscious and almost everyone who has access to the internet knows about eating more whey protein to reduce the fat levels and keep oneself fit. Most of the people take this as a cue to eat more meat and chicken. But the normal cooking methods of meat is to use lots of fat, for steamed or smoked meat is not that tasty and not many go for them. Thus to consume proteins fat free or with least fat content and also to keep your heart healthy, you must shift to plant sources of proteins.

All edible green leafy vegetables are good source of minerals. Make sure that you add them to whatever horleys you eat to aid proper digestion. Nuts are the most important protein groups in the plant kingdom. But they also contain fat. So too much of nuts can also be dangerous. Green vegetables of the climbers and creepers called the legumes are the best sources for proteins. Chop a bowl of those vegetables, steam them with salt and you can have them as such. Do not forget the lentils and pulses. In fact you can make a delicious side dish with lentils and legumes to go with your rice. Health is wealth – be healthy!
