Pink Soles in Motion (PSIM) is a Breast Cancer 3-Day Team benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The Komen Foundation is a national philanthropic organization whose mission is to find a cure for breast cancer and the 3-Day is the annual 60-mile fundraising walk.
PSIM was one of the top five fundraising teams in the DFW area at the 2008 3-Day Walk. This team raised over $200,000 toward finding a cure for Breast Cancer in the last three years. Now it is our goal to raise $130,000 in 2009!
The team is based in Coppell with members from all over the Metroplex. We are friends; we are leaders; we have Breast Cancer Survivors; and we range in age from mid-twenties to mid-sixties.
