This year, Chinese New Year falls on January 23, 2012. During this time, many people celebrate by adorning their homes with red paper, wearing red clothing and enjoying festivals with their families. The most commonly known festival to take place is the Festival of Lanterns. This is traditionally the time when the dance of the dragon is shared throughout the streets of China. Even little children like you get in on the festivities by receiving "lucky money" in red envelopes from familiy members and friends. Learning about different cultures, traditions and holidays are always fun. Check out some of these titles below to learn more about Chinese New Year.
